But when a teacher, who turns out to be a goddess, arranges a meet up with four girls, she explains to them that they all have the power to transform.
The girls can transform into four large cats, who were each revered by different ancient civilization, and their job as the Hunters of Chaos is to prevent the evil gods, who want chaos to take over the world, from succeeding.
Can they use their newfound powers to overcome such powerful forces?
This is a terrific and fast-paced graphic tale with powerful female characters, a bit of flirting, defending the universe and ancient civilizations, that make it an ideal book for lower secondary students.
