This is the second book in this beautifully illustrated graphic series. This first book was included in our 2025 subscription, and we are sure that readers will be keen to follow the story.
Pip has risen to be ruler of Oakhold, but with that comes responsibility. One of his first orders is to send his best friend, Twig, on a dangerous mission. But when Twig gets kidnapped, he is left with no alternative but to take matters into his own hands...
Of course, nothing goes to plan, but his biggest mistake is to trust an undercover spy who worships the Toad. Pip doesn’t know where to turn in this treacherous fairy world, and decides that his best option is to follow his gut instincts. Will this be enough to save Oakhold, so that he can return a hero?
This is an extremely witty story, filled with fantastic illustrations and zany adventures that will appeal to readers aged 8 and up.
