At school I have lots of friends.
I have so many friends that sometimes I don’t know who to play with.
Tahnee wants everyone in her Year 2 class to get along and be happy. But what happens when all of Tahnee’s friends want her attention at the same time? And how can Tahnee be friends with Lucy, when Lucy doesn’t seem to want any friends?
A novel about friendship and school life, and the balance we all need to find to be the best friend we can be.
We all know that juggling friendships and dealing with all the different personalities of our school friends can be tough.
Tahnee is a very kind, thoughtful and popular girl, and she just wants everyone to be friends with each other and get along, and she finds it hard to believe that her friends all find this so difficult.
She is often caught between trying to be friends with everyone and keeping the peace between them all.
So when it comes time for her birthday party, she is determined to include everyone, including the new, quiet girl Lucy, who Tahnee has tried to become friends with. But are her ‘friendship ideals’ realistic or will her efforts to include everyone result in lost friendships?
This is a delightful verse novel, with a very positive feel, that many younger students will thoroughly relate to.
