On Talisman Day, the first in eleven years, all the children from the Province of Arylia receive their own talisman. This object, with wonderful powers, will change their lives.
Penn is a Wintrish servant and she isn't expecting a talisman, yet her name is on the list and so she receives one too.
Penn is bound to Princess Seraphine as a knot-sister since they were born on the same day. When Seraphine is kidnapped, Penn knows it is up to her to save her. Penn meets up with Juniper and Arthur, and the three friends set out on a perilous journey to find Seraphine. But can three children, a cuddly Huggle Beast and dragon who is afraid of unicorns really save the Kingdom?
This is a fast-paced, funny, wonderful adventure fantasy story. It has great characters and amazing animal friends, together with evil adversaries, that make this a hard book to put down. Readers will love Penn and Ned, her fiercely protective bundle of fluff! I can’t wait for Book Two.
