Jace can see monsters - things like goblins, vampires, werewolves, imps - and it causes him no end of trouble because no one else can see them. His best friend Eli believes him but no one else does, until he is asked to come to the museum in town.
Here he meets Alice and Felix, who can both see monsters too. Mr Madz is the curator at the museum and he needs their help. The monsters live in their own world separated by the Veil and occasionally one slips through - but now they all want to break through. With the upcoming eclipse and an old prophecy colliding, this is their perfect chance to wreak havoc on the human world.
Can Jace and his new friends find a way to stop them, and save the world from being overrun?
This is a fast-paced fantasy and mystery that is full of adventure, bravery and friendship. Jace realises that he is no longer the only one who is different, and the new friends need to learn how to trust and help each other. They also need to master their new powers, which are all linked to their own unique abilities, in time to save the world.
