When three brothers are left the keys to their industrial family business, they take no time to pause and think about their impact on the world. With little care for the future, or the future of their children, their greed is the only thing on display.
In an interesting and thought provoking take on the environmental challenges we face today, The Inheritance visualises a potential future that is bleak, but could fast become a reality. It highlights how ignorance, complacency and greed from those in positions of economic power can have enormous consequences for the environment, and challenges the reader to take action.
With Armin Greder’s always stunning illustrations, this book will be a great asset to discussions around climate change and the environment. Due to the dark and mature nature of the illustrations, it is best suited to readers aged 13+.
