Mimi, a budding artist and university student, has her dream part-time job at Melbourne’s NGV. She befriends Nahal, who covers for her while she sketches when they are not busy. She has also come to the attention of the mysterious curator, Simon.
But when he travels with her to an artist’s utopia she must decide - to live forever, free of the worries of the normal world, and create her art together with other world-renowned artists like Da Vinci and Van Gogh, or return to her normal life and battle on?
