This is a stunning debut novel from David Hofmeyr.
Set on Earth sometime in the future, Adam Shore wants a chance to change his life. The only way to do this is to ride and win the race on the Blackwater Trail on his motorbike.
But he is not the only one who wants to win this brutal race - so does Sadie, the dangerous outsider Kane, and Sadie’s violent brother Levi.
This is a full on action story that is quite brutal and confronting at times, but superbly written with wonderful characters that make this book really hard to put down.
I highly recommend it to lovers of fast paced action novels in Year 9 and up.
