Millicent-Mae Moonbeam-White was quite the tiniest little fluffy white puppy that had ever been left on the doorstep at St Bernard’s Home for Little Lost Dogs.
Millicent-Mae Moonbeam-White - known as Millie - is a sweet, white, fluffy puppy who lives at St Bernard’s Home for Little Lost Dogs.
Millie loves her life there with the other dogs and carers. Her days are filled with dance (and Millie loves to dance!), puppy school, eating delicious food, playing in the park, reading books, helping with the housework, doing art and craft, and going on outdoor excursions.
It is a happy place, but when some of her friends find their ‘forever’ homes, Millie wonders if she will ever find hers...
This is a delightful story about family and finding your place in the world. Millie is a wonderful character, and with beautiful illustrations this will be thoroughly enjoyed by younger primary students, particularly emerging readers - and I am sure they will be eagerly awaiting future adventures of Millie!
