Lulu Bell's beach holiday is about to begin!

Lulu can't wait for her holiday at Tarni Beach to begin.

She has a new pink surfboard and Dad is going to teach her to surf. Lulu and her friend Zac like to spot wildlife in the bush nearby. But bulldozers have arrived and the trees might soon be gone.

What will happen to the mummy koala and her joey if all the trees are taken away? Lulu needs to work out how to save the koalas' home!

In this instalment of the wonderful Lulu Bell series, we see Lulu, her family and their family friends, The Stewarts, head to Tarni Beach for their annual summer holidays.

Lulu and the other children are so excited to be able to spend a week at the beach, and Lulu is particularly looking forward to learning to surf. She loves Tarni Beach! Especially all the wildlife that appears right near the house!

But something is not quite right this year. It is the sound of bulldozer! And that cannot be good. They soon discover that their neighbour, Mr O’Connor is planning on removing all the trees to make way for new houses.

When Lulu and Zac find an injured koala and its joey, Lulu becomes determined to try and fix things. But will her plan work, and will she be able to save the tranquillity of Tarni Beach?

A perfect read for your middle level girls.
