Kev and Trev are best friends who desperately need a new house boat to live in. They decide if they get famous that this will solve their problem.
But getting famous is not that easy, and everything they try fails. So they decide to write a book - surely that’s not so hard, there are millions of books!
Kev is going to write the stories and Trev will draw the pictures with ink from Mr Happy, the squid who will also edit the stories for them. They get a publishing deal with a PUG-lisher who insists that there must be a story about merpugs in it.
So Kev, Trev and Mr Happy set off with a plan to track them down. Do merpugs exist? Can they find them? Will they even finish their book?
This a fun introduction to graphic novels for younger readers. Trev and Kev are great characters, and Mr Happy is a grump who is their biggest help in writing their book.
