When Wiz and Mug both visit the Archmage seeking reassignment, she sends them out together to collect magical artifacts. They enter into the kingdom of the dead and find the only remaining guard who takes them to his leader, Steps. Steps challenges Mug to a game of basketball, where the winner takes it all - that is, they survive.
Can Mug possibly beat this huge foe, or will Wiz step in and save the day?
Great sports-based action in a ghostly setting, this is a surefire way to get reluctant younger secondary readers into reading.
