Review
Ella and her friends from the world of the Ella Diaries and Ella and Olivia are back in a brand-new story, this time set in an engaging graphic novel format, from the incredibly talented Serena Geddes.
It is the start of a new school year and Ella is excited, as she loves everything about school. Well, everything cxcept Peach Parker, who has been in her class every year. Now that they are in Year 6 this is the year that they get to run for the leadership roles, and being school captain is something that Ella has dreamt about since Grade 1!
Ella, Zoe and Ammy have quickly made friends with the new girl at school, Rani, and the four girls are determined to get Ella and Ammy into their chosen roles - but they are going to need a plan. And so, the idea of the FAB club is born – Find A Bestie.
But as Ella and her friends are soon to find out, beating Peach Parker, who is resorting to all sort of sneaky tactics, it is going to take more imaginative thinking if they are going to achieve their goals!
This is a fabulous story about friendship, wanting to help others and putting yourself in a position to be able to make a difference, in all sorts of ways.
It will be thoroughly enjoyed by those in middle to upper primary.
