Someone has to save the world and that someone is Daisy Malone.
It's Daisy's 12th birthday but she's got more earth-shattering things on her mind. Her mother is missing and she and her dog Ben (a highly intelligent, talking dog - his words!) have just found a mysterious blue glowing stone in the attic.

Together they must solve the mystery of her mother’s disappearance, why there are two strange men who are terrorising her neighbour, and why does everyone want the blue glowing stone? Not to mention it’s also her birthday!
This is a fast paced mystery that is also hilarious and will have your students laughing out loud.
