Dooley lives on a farm near the north west coast of Tasmania, just near Dooley’s Hill, the hill he was named after.
He loves farm life and all that goes with it - collecting the eggs, feeding the animals and picking fruit and planting vegetables.
His older cousin Sienna, who lives in Sydney, is coming to stay. Dooley is excited, but will Sienna adjust to life on the farm? They soon come to agree that ‘it would be boring if everywhere was the same’.
When they decide to spend the night in the barn the noises, animals and pests threaten to derail their adventure!
A fantastic story for younger readers about adjusting to your surroundings and trying new experiences.
