Finding the perfect tree is anything but easy. Building a perfect nest isn’t going well. As for making friends? That’s proving to be the biggest test of all. Review
There’s a new bird in town, and he is following the list that his mum made for him, as he sets out to see the world on his own!
He thinks that he has the first thing crossed off the list, which was to find a great tree. Although the second one - to weave a fancy nest - proves challenging, he crosses it off anyway. Now he must complete the list by singing and dancing the springtime song of friendship, and then having fun with his new best friend.
Spider hears the singing and goes to investigate who it might be. But Bird is scared of spiders, and Spider is normally scared of birds, so surely they are not going to get along! As these two spend time together, and both search for a new best friend, will they realise what might have been in front of them the whole time?
This is the first title in a fabulous new junior graphic novel series, that is all about friendship and opening yourself up to possibilities. It will be enjoyed by those in junior and middle primary.
